69年。カントリーロックになってる頃のアルバム。タイトル曲は映画 “Easy Rider” のテーマソング。実際に映画で使われたバージョンとは違うらしい。歌いだし部分だけ、Bob Dylanが歌詞を書いたんだそうだ。
Byrdsといえば外せないDylanナンバーは “It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue”。
その他、Jesus Is Just Alright“。これ、バーズのバージョンはヒットしなかったけど、後年に Doobie Brothersがカバーしてヒットさせた曲。

例によってボーナストラックは充実。
