“Syro”が4ヶ月前出たばかりなのに、昨日早くも出ちゃったAphex Twin次のやつ。

タイトルそのまんまで、アコースティック楽器ベースでコンピューター制御の演奏機械を作ったらしいのだな。実体がよくわからないが。
近年でいうと Pat Metheny の Orchestrion や Squarepusher x Z-MACHINES の “Music For Robots” などに似たアプローチかと。機械でしかできない無茶な演奏はごく少ない。
ピアノ、ドラム、パーカッションなど。スチールドラムかガムランみたいな音も聞こえるけどなんだろか(プリペアドピアノ？)。生音でやるとこうなるのか。やっぱりトライバルな感じしますね
