First great quintet and sextet (1955 to 1958)

50年代マイルスでございます。

プレスティッジとの契約を早く終わらせるために1956/5/11,1956/10/26の二日間のセッションを4枚のアルバムにしたという、いわゆるマラソンセッションの4枚。
この中では”Cookin'”が一番良いように思う。次に”Relaxin'”か。とはいえ”Workin'”,”Steamin'”も捨てがたい。
